My E63 is getting a Renntech ECU next week and gonna jump to around 707 hp, this little C63 will easily be in the 600hp's after tune

Really liking the styling (sans the AMG GT, but props on being avant garde), power-plants, and overall direction of AMG right now. I wish they would make their dual-clutch tranny more omnipresent though, but I'm sure that will come with time.

Speaking of which, anybody know which tranny will be featured in the new C63 AMG?

Some long serving members on the F8x/E9x forum have been reported several times and have chosen to retract from the F8x forums. In all fairness, it should also be mentioned that the mods have deleted posts from some of the other members when their posts have been personal/insulting etc.

It seems that the mods have had enough of the never ending debate on the under rating of the S55, trap speeds and performance statistics of the F8x...

He was just kidding. I don't want to start wars. We are all on the same team. It just so happens that the AMG team seems to be taking a more agreeable approach to their designs.

In a recent motor car article they said it was getting the same 7 speed DCT as the new AMG GT. But who knows auto journalists are wrong a ton .

Temporarily, until MB makes their DCT more ubiquitous, I could see either scenario playing-out. They could (1) reserve the DCT for the most sports-oriented vehicles i.e. SLS, AMG GT, Black Series models, etc. or (2) start placing the DCT in vehicles equipped the 4.0TT and progressively evolve it from there. We'll find-out soon...
