I hear ya. In America lawmakers hide behind a cloak of righteousness and pass laws for an agenda. I'm not implying that drinking and driving is a good idea, but if they were concerned with safety and not revenue they would take more important action. They have DWI check points, well why don't they have cops in unmarked cars looking for people texting while driving? That is by far the newest most unsafe thing to do while driving. They have done commercials and made it a ticketable offense, thats all.

IMO, getting caught on texting should have the same legal ramifications as DWI. You consistently have your eyes completely off the road. At least when your drunk you're trying.
