Tune required?
I have a 2016 M5 & I got an exhaust system and an intake for it
RPI-GTM exhaust MSR intake & I might wanna re-install the cat less downpipes. (Still iffy abt it) I have the rpi installed already and I just ordered the msr's My question is do I need to do a stage one tune to keep the hp and torque from decreasing? Thank you! |

I think he is saying the tune makes such a big difference that the intake and exhaust will feel marginal. Tune is required for catless exhaust: removes heat cycle on start up and CEL caused by lack of cats (o2 sensor sets off CEL).

LMFAOO ooooh cuz I was told I needed a tune just for the intakes cuz it throws off the air and fuel ratio so I'd lose hp instead of a little gain
