MrPowell At this moment, our end use software doesn't have ability to datalog but we can add it if the demand is there.

You should do it Alex; it may sway potential customers

That is something I will look into for sure. The end user software supports it, just need to build the actual parameters into it.

Does the bootmod3 allow you to unlock the DME and flash without sending in the DME? I just got my M5 and looking to add a tune, but don't want a piggyback unit, and sending in the DME's doesn't sound all that appealing.

I've had several 600hp Subaru's before, and all tuning was done just with flashing, and I'm very experienced with that. I just can't find definitive info on whether you still have to remove the DME and have them unlocked before you can even use bootmod3. Thanks for any guidance!

DME's need to be unlocked; they have a growing list of installers so you may be able to have it done locally depending on where you live. Check their website.

Hey guys, after a few months with the BootMod3 tune from Shah @ SSR Performance. The variance from stock was intense and awesome.....bulletproof even.

Highly recommend the upgrade and Shah is and has been nothing but responsive to any of my needs.

I'm selling the car but will definitely look at SSR for tuning in the future.
