Question for those running BMS boxes

For those of you running BMS boxes, where are you placing it? I know the instructions recommend placing it under the panel but when I do it I simply do not like that location as the bulge is too pronounced. I do like the pocket next to the hinge.

Is anyone else placing it there or somewhere else?
I figure it also needs to be wrapped in a bag to protect it from moisture...thoughts?

I put it there and its safe! I don't drive my car when it rains but through car washes its fine!

You just need to position it properly. It wont bulge much. I had mine there for a few months before going to a flash tune. Drove in heavy rains and went through car washes with no issues. You don't need to bag it, unless it makes you feel better.

Thanks - I drove the car today and it is raining.

I ended up putting it on the extreme front lip under the cover rather than the lateral pocket. By sliding it down toward the front of the car I was able to get it to fit in a satisfactory manner.

Because I am an overachiever, I also bagged the box.

No issues on my 90 mile drive to the office in Alabama this morning.
