What are the curved rectangular boxes above the regular tach? Are they additional notice lights that come on when you get to the redline as a warning?

Yes Sir! If you are pressing hard you'll see them light up very fast just before redline.

Think of it like a "get ready....shift" light if you are paddle shifting.

Also, it you get all of them to light up, you win a prize.
