European delivery... is price negotiable?

Hi everyone, I'm ready to pull the plug on a 2014 M5 FB/SO, EP, 20"

I was wondering what's your experience with the ED price? Is it negotiatable?
I've heard different stories. But dealers say they don't have any room on ED.

Thanks

Maybe he's "pulling the plug" on the deal if the dealer wont budge on the price????

And yes there is room for negotiation on ED price. your best bet is to shop a few dealers and get different quotes. You can use them against the other dealers for leverage. You could even buy from a dealer in California, and do PCD in SC and drive home to Ohio...

Good point!

OP, yes very negotiable. However it depend largely on whether or not the ED 2014 M5 comes out of dealer allocation.

If they won't discount you may be better served negotiating a great deal on a 2013. If you were willing to fly to europe then certainly you would be willing to fly to a dealer in the USA with the color/option combo you want in stock!!!!

Yes it is negotiable. IF they are not budging, find another dealer.

I will be very interested to hear how this turns out. I'm told that as of now, new ED ///M cars are absolutely taken out of dealer allocation, meaning they aren't going to discount where they think they have demand. I hope this is untrue, but it came from multiple reputable BMW sources.

You are correct. The car is taken out of the dealers allocation. I ordered mine and I saw the email from Germany asking my sales lady to pls give them one of their allocation to proceed with the ED. She walked over to the manager and about 5 min after returned with the allocation and specs I wanted entered in system with my 111 status and production #.

100% true... and demand is key, but not the only factor. The right CA might fight to come down at least some, but supply and demand is certainly in full effect for the LCIs...

Spinny02,

Did you get any discount off your ED?
