too much heat inside the boot after long drive

i am doing eurotrip atm and drive 200-800kms a day and my stuff inside the boot heats

it is hot these days out here in europe 30-35 during day time and most of the time i was driving during day, so did not pay too much attention to it, as i thought it is just due to heat outside, but i have just had an evening-night drive 9pm - 1am for 550km, taken a car out from cooled down underground parking, where i put my luggage inside and when i opened the boot at my destination, it hit my face with a cloud of hot air, all my stuff inside was relatively hot

anyone had same issue? shall i worry about that or its just the weather? was 22-25 outside during the ride

Don't keep meltable loot in your boot! I have noticed this as well on long drives +400km. Lots of heat under the car when stopped if the engine fan comes on! (standing at trunk)

Europe is experiencing a heat wave right now and I suspect it's more to do with that. During my ED mid-late September last year, luggage heat was a non issue.
