I feel in love with the GT3 when I spent a day with one in the Santa Monica Mountains. I've been looking forward to the RS ever since. I'm sure it's amazing!
Friend of mine went to our local dealer and they wanted sticker +$50K for the allocation spot.

Are the GT3 owners considering "upgrading "? Per Chris Harris, the RS is about 10% better than the GT3. I think it's quite a looker.

Most RS cars will be garage queens because of the high demand on resale. Not too many willing to track a 200k plus car. Allocations are really hard to get unless you want to pay 50k up charge. I would consider at msrp, but I will keep the non-RS too. They are selling for msrp or better used. All 918 owners get first dibs which are eating up the slots.

I bet there won't be too many miles on George's RS when he decides to get rid of it. Lol!

You'll have to change the color of the M4 then. You can't have 2 Mr. Oranges?!

Already have 2 orange cars, so may as well stick with the program purple looks good in that video, but just isn't my thing. PTS window will open someday, but I'm not patient enough to wait indefinitely ... I want this on the track asap. Will likely be the best arrive and drive car on the road.
Bimmer6, I believe owners will use these cars as intended. Thank goodness Porsches don't depreciate like a Ferrari with use. There's no point in owning a RS if you don't track it. There are dealers asking 50k over, but they did same BS with GT3. All of the future RS owners I know are getting theirs at MSRP (including me). You just have to get your name on a list early, and have some amount of trust in your dealer. |

Agree on the list, and yes some will track. Look at some of the past RS's that are sold back to 2010 a lot with very low miles. A lot of flippers in the RS market, and I know you will have a blast in yours. I love the Orange, but it sucks they will make it standard on the 991 as an option. If I take the plunge I have to go PTS this go around. Some of the 2016 GT3's are marked up by 15k .......small batch got released. |

Another friend of mine has a slot for the GT3RS and he is thinking about Acid Green for the color. I told him to go with Orange or Blue if they have a blue color available. Lol!

He just has THE best job in the world.... That car is just perfect. And so loving the purple and front side gills.... Is it so much better than a TTS??
I need this car! Or just so wider rubbers and lose the rear seats for a while...

GT3RS > GT3 The only minor downsides: -Not available in Black color (personal preference) -Max redline of GT3RS is slightly lower than GT3 by 200 RPM (8,800 RPM vs 9,000 RPM) Other than that, RS all the way |

I'd love to buy a gt3 (2010 up) especially since I recently paid off my m5. I'd have to trade it in though. But I don't want payments of any car anymore. For now I'll drive one through your guys eyes.
