Start stop problem?

First post as an M5 owner

I'm a very happy owner of a 2015 Silverstone/Silverstone M5, just had the 1200 mile service

The only issue so far is when the start/stop either cuts the power or restarts, there is a fairly loud clunk noise from below the centre arm rest. Never had this before with other BMW's, and I don't remember it doing it in the demo M5 I tried out

Dealer wants the car in to check, but implied it might be normal

Just wanted to check before I laugh at him

Congrats. I turned mine off when I picked up the car, never to be switched on again.

Yeah that's the noise of one of actuators.
There are many threads about this issue over M3/M4 forum....
The best solution: turn it off FOREVER

You are supposed to turn that off. It is just there as an inside joke between tow BMW engineers.
