Ill keep you guys in the loop.
Prep at Fayetteville is AWESOME. Much better than Darlington… you'll run 10's at Fayetteville.

well hope to see you out there! plan to go again next week to get some more practice before I go to Fayetteville.
Tell Murphy I say what's up and great meeting him had a great time. Even with the hot humid day, I might bring my M5 too, see how it does at the track with the BMS stage 1, everything else is stock.

Yeah I hear Fayetteville has a nice sticky track and a fast one at that.

Check out my video in my signature. Ran a 11.07 in a M5 with no meth.
500 lbs heavier than yours, but I think I can get it into 10's. It's very hard to launch and move the weight down the track though. I use BMS tune as well.
Why 500 lb heavier? M6 even with CCB still weigh 4200 lb and yours is slightly less than 4400 lb!!!
Don't get me wrong you guys both have fantastic cars, I just don't get that 500 difference!

Not sure his settings and I believe the M5's are tweaked a bit from the factory to be able to compete with the M6 no matter the weight.

Also I changed my settings that day and didnt let the car fully adapt. On the way home I could tell is started to wake up. The next morning it was a different animal. Since then its been raining. I went one other time hoping I would break the 11's but all I did was wheel spin the whole time even with my drag radials. They say if it rains continously ou gotta have at least 2-3 days of dry weather for the track to be healed up and ready again. I didnt believe it until I experienced it myself.

Now with my new intake I have more than enough power to get that 10 second run.
Might go to the track next week to see if the beast will make the record.

Lol I think we already figured out the weight difference. I was under the impression coupes were in the 3000's range, but I guess not. I'm considering doing the meth in the next two weeks, he not 100% sure yet. Looking forward to your findings with the intake.

The weight difference is more like 175-200#

An M6 DCT with CCBs weighs 42xx.

Should have base data early next week then intake install end of the week. Hopefully by the end of next week should have some great results and plenty of data to back it up
Have a race planned for another M5 which will be another good base run. My car is completely stock and his has mods. Will break those down and will video the run as well. Also plan to Dyno his car too as is.
After intake install adaptation process will run his car again.

Believe me the data I will have on hand will cover every angle. You'll be pleased with the documented data I will have.

Correct!
I remember @gmd2003 weighted his car the other day and posted here.
His car is M6 CP with CCBs. I guess it was 4195 lb or something close ...

I said "correct" and I meant you are correct
I just added the information @gmd2003 provided the other day.
BTW, as far as I know he has M performance exhaust which is not titanium (?)
but still lighter than stock exhaust so "you are correct with 42xx"

The full M performance exhaust (made by Akra) is 100% titanium and is ~ 30 lbs lighter than the stock CP exhaust. They really made the stock exhausts a lot lighter this time as all the catalyzers are in the DP's.

In 100% meth you can run 93 and 100 octane on 6lb boost increase. Air fuels and performance are consistent between both fuels.

Meth really made a huge difference ad with the custom intake even more
