dealer pick up check list
Hello eveyone, picking her up this week. Sooo excited! Any advice on dealer pick up check list. I understand the straight forward stuff like check for dings, scratches, etc. Also, need to get BMW assist set up and front licnese plate holder installed. Any other tips pertaining to M cars specifically?

Good to know. Thanks.
Until today, I never thought about front license plate issue. The car looks sooo much better without it. On the other hand I don't like tickets. Hmmmmmmm |

Can you explain what you mean by not all the time. This is not a track car, just commute and around town transpiration. Isn't it a PIA to Velcro it on and off all the time????

I have never seen cups pull over these kind of cars for front license plate, but if they pull you over for something else like speeding, then the front license plate can be an issue in top of that ticket. Again this is just my experience and I live in OC and not LA! |

List
Check for: mobility kit, first aid kit, full tool kit (no empty spot inside the trunk case), spare key, smokers kit (one in each rear door and one in the middle of the front seats, wheel anti theft key, mats (four of them), leather portfolio with service booklet, owners instructions and guarantee. Enjoy.

I think it has to do with shipping rules, first aid kit might be flammable. The warning triangle they should def give us.

Honestly, you can pick up a first aid kit for the trunk that is much better than anything BMW would include, for much cheaper. Besides, have you ever broken down and said to yourself, "if only I had that warning triangle in my trunk"?
