That thing is a beast. I wish someone would take pics of the inside!
24 hour testing takes place much earlier in the production cycle. At this point, it's fine tuning, not running the car flat out.

Yeah, I see that. Interesting.

Also, notice that the hood is covered, indicating that it, too, is different from the standard F10.

..But the on ramps.. hahaha

But really, are they still covering the hood in spite that their maybe a bump in it? i.e. e9x m3.

Well over the years, I always see prototype BMW when I exit hwy 90 Marina Delray. Other locations is 405 south toward San Diego, 605 South at Cerritos area, the outlet next to Tijuana border, and ofcourse at 101 where Port Hueneme. You will better chance of having encounter at the locations listed above.

actually are dealership is located right down the road from the VPC/port and also the area where all the test mules come out of and we took a tour of the area and i asked one of the engineers about what all they do and one of the things he told us was they run the cars all day and night up and down the coast for months changing shifts with other engineers so that the car is constantly being tested. So maybe they changed it up a bit since last year or he was just bs me who knows but even still why would be park it on a street in a residential area and not back at the station! haha.

We need to find this car and get a video of it in action, we need someone to go camp out down by the port

Jimmy, i am surprised you haven't seen this car pull-up to the dealer. Sometimes they do that.
well snap some photos when you do see it.

those guys are really not the most friendliest people im sure there like that for a reason bc they dont want to be bothered by enthusiast like myself maybe. Mr. Thomas and I were coming back from Malibu one night in his Alpina Z8 with his dealer plates and we rolled up to a convo of 6 mules that were pulled over on the side of the road. We pulled off and Mr Thomas introduced himself and asked if everything was ok and let them know he is the owner of Steve THomas bmw store down the road and these guys basically said we are fine beat it. Pretty rude actually, so we just went on our way which makes me think they will not be showing up on any lots anytime soon

I don't care how it sounds. I just know it will have the thrust and torque of an AMG with the handling of an ///M!!!

Do you think this M5 will be comparable in price to the last one?

I miss my E60...the V10 was music to my ears. Flying down I-5 at 100mph towards LA was a pleasure, especially in my 6MT. But dealing with 11-12mpg and a small fuel tank really really sucked.

Can't wait for this V8 TT, at least get a few more MPGs out of this and hopefully a 20 gal fuel tank.
