Can you identify the 12V ignition switched 'hot' wire you used?

There is a guide on here for your vehicle on the hot and grounding wire to use. He used the wiring off of the sunroof motor if I rememeber correctly. I had to use my rear view mirror wiring. The overhead console wiring is a no go and will lead to a fault if disconnected in the M6.

Hardwired my V1 using the sunroof. Tapped the green/brown wire forward of the sunroof motor. Grounded to one of the two sunroof bolts. That was a royal pain in the a$$...use a spade connector, so you don't have to completely remove the nut.

Google is your friend, do a search for "v1 hardwire F10" and you'll get the thread I used from one of the other forums.

Have fun!
