I'd like to know too.
The other day I was driving my son to school and on this slight turn on the road I nudged the gas pedal and the car just tailed out! Luckily I wasn't going very fast so quickly got it under control but it could've gone bad. I'm new to the M5 and the early morning frosty London roads so I'm very interested to know which tyres you guys use during these cold months.

I use Trofeo-R on my stock rims and MPSS on my 21" rims.
The Trofeo-R in stock sizes are amazing if you can handle running a track biased tyre on the road. I can get full grip in 3rd now which was not possible on 305 MPSS. They improved my 60-130 time by 0.3 seconds. |

I'm using Nitto NT05. Great grip but are being worn quickly due to softer compound and daily launches

I think they are for our mixed conditions, if I was in a sunny place I might go with trofeo.
