Such a sad story and a tragic end to a young life. WTOP says the driver was 21 years old. My heart goes out to his family and I hope he rests in peace.
Key Bridge was always a hot spot for this type of activity. I remember being challenged countless mornings on my way in to work by all manner of cars. I'm glad I moved away, though similar things happen in SF now on city streets with 25MPH limits. Way too many people buy these cars to show off, have no idea how to control them, and shouldn't be driving them. No combination of high tech systems will save you from being stupid and putting yourself and other motorists at risk.

Age alone may not be the only factor here but does not help to have 3-4 yrs total driving experience in life and own a 500hp monster at 21. Statistics don't lie.
