go pro help
Man, I thought I was going to make me a small video since I'm home now for a couple days...well at least until sunday. So, I took out the go-pro, attached it to the rear of the car and off I went. What I didn't realize is that when I got up to speed, all I would get was wind. I'm so disapointed in the go-pro. What does everyone else do to keep the wind out and hear the exhaust? So can someone help a brother out please.

I would clean the spot your trying to place the go pro on before. I usually like putting the go pro either on the trunk facing down or the back side of the car near one side of the exhaust.

Had it on the side if the trunk facing the rear. Didn't help

The "spider" back helps some. I had problems at the track with it and poor audio due to wind noise (even when inside the vehicle). I see on some of the sites that some are running an external mic back to the lip above the license plate to pickup the exhaust sound from a protected point while mounting the camera somewhere else on the car.

Look up Mic Bergsma's YouTube channel. He tests a fluffy mic cover that sticks to skeleton back door, and it muffles out almost all of wind noise. I think the cover comes with another case back door.

I didn't even hear any wind noise from that video. That engine sure sounded good. Question, was that the track msr track down 288. I'm gonna try to get down there for a track day. I will order one tonight along with the fuzzy one that Master Dank has. Then after testing both, I can give everyone a qualified review. Thanks guys for your help.

I used to to to TWS for track day on my R1. If Im in town, I surly would like to put my car on the track and finally really let loose. I will let you know. Thanks for the help and info.
