This is what I'm waiting for. The new McLaren P13 500S!

Sounds like the starting price for the P13 will be around the same as the 911 Turbo, around $150k USD. This is the one I'm waiting for. I'd gladly trade in my M5 for one of these. Debuts summer of 2015!

I just love the idea of it, the 911-fighter. Lol!

That's a very smart move by Mac to produce this car. They can consider me as a potential customer. Its slightly less emotive feel might make me avoid the 650S/12C, but at a much lower price bracket, i would be more than happy to pay for the P13. Marvelous cars they make!

Clar, did your "emotive" perception come from reading journalists? If so, just stop and go drive one please. I've never felt more "emotional" (fear mostly) than when pushing a mclaren accelerator pedal to the floor.

I test drove the 12C and liked it a lot. It was stupid fast, but straight line speed doesnt rank high on my list. My upcoming speciale prob wont see which way it went, but that doesnt bother me much. At this level, we are talking abt other intangibles. I din like the sound enough and there is some turbo lag. I hated the doors with a vengeance. Its got stunning suspension and great handling. Overall, its an awesome effort from Mac esp since its their first road car. There is some feeling of insulation in the experience, which i believe is what many have complained abt.

Detuned... So, assuming third-party engine software (currently available on the 12C) is available as well as the same internals as the 12C/650S are used (no indication to the contrary), this thing has the potential to be a monster....

These cars are usually packaged with at least 5 years maintenance at the dealers.
