I am super careful to warm it up, then I drive more or less within the speed limit with plenty of bursts up to speed.

Then I go to the race track, do private track days, and yes it gets driven very hard, I am pretty easy on the brakes, no point in burning them out (very big heavy car) lots of drifting though and the odd spin...which I guess counts as driving hard!

Cheers

If the weather is bad or traffic is heavy I drive soft. Otherwise I find those "crappy" back tires spinning every time I drive the car! Or at least that is what I would tell the police

M cars are meant to be driven hard...I have always driven my M cars in M mode, don't like it any other way...only long long trips I might drive them in comfort at times...

I push it at least once when I do get to drive it and only in areas where I know. No sense in owning an M if you don't push it every now and then. Like everybody said DC area cops don't mess around especially in Fairfax County.

I only drive it that way in the first 3 gears. I let it rest in 4-7.

I drive mine hard all day everyday. DSC off the majority of the time, with the back wheels spinning constantly LOL. I raced a 600whp shelby GT last night and won by a car length (Was surprised). When driving in the city I usually keep it under 60 and keep cool. I have been pulled over by the authorities over 20+ times though with this car, so this thing is a trouble maker.

I use it for everyday driving so I punch the gas here and there. I've taken it on some spirited sunday morning drives out in the country roads. So yes, absolutely!

Sure, it happens. I usually just try thinking about baseball until it goes away.

20+ times?? Don't understand how that's possible and you still have a license.

You need to start a thread detailing those adventures. Please share.
