Optimal Seat Position
We need a thread to gather how members set their seat position. This is what I do: 4 fingers from head to headliner, elbows and knees at a angle and seat close enough to be able to extend my arm fully and rest fingers on the instruments cluster "cap". I have the multi-contour seats, years on and I still can't find a position without back pain for long drives. You guys? |

I follow the same setup as video 1, for my track or performance driving position. It results in a higher seat position, more vertical back, and close to the wheel. That is M2. For longer drives or cruises, I lower the seat, recline it a little, and scoot back from the wheel a tad. It is a little more comfortable that way. M1.

That is very interesting. E53 with the comfort seats and now f10 m5 are the only two that dont give me back pains on long drives. E60 M5 was bad, e90 not that great.
