At 30.4 the M6 CP seems faster than the 30Jahre? This vid is not "official" I realize.

I timed that at 32/33 secs.
M6 GC CP is 30.4 secs

So not that fast.

This M5 could go faster from 0-300 if they had redlined it in every gear or at least pull to about 7000rpm before shifting and not shift at ~6500rpm.
The M5 can do 300 in 5th gear.

Hehe I know that's possible...........however I fear that it might put too much stress and pressure on the gearbox/transmission.

So these are delimited?

The customer availed of the M DRIVERS PACKAGE which raises the max speed limit to 305 KILOMTERES PER HOUR. That and it comes with a free training session with a BMW approved and certified driving and racing instructor

As stated in another thread (I think it was the M3/M4 thread), the driver training course IS A REQUIREMENT for two reasons:
1) BMW wants you as a customer to make sure that you are qualified, prepared and skilled enough to handle the higher speeds
and
2) BMW wlll not be held responsible or liable for any loss, injury or death resulting in the operation of the vehicle at higher speeds

In short, BMW will give you this added level of freedom and performance to your car BUT BMW has to make sure that you are capable of handling the added responsibility that is required of the driver.

30.4 is for M6 Coupe CP, not GC!
M6 GC is a bit slower because of extra weight. We already discussed this over 6post! I will not be surprised if I see 30 Jahre faster than M6 GC, since both must have the same weight, but 30 Jahre has extra power...
