They stop making them when the new one comes out... Same way there is no 2014 e92 m3/ or m4/m3 because its MY2015.
So in late 2012 the "2013" m5 was released. |

the new ones dont come out until the next year. so there still should be 2011s and 2012s...if what you say is true. i mean its like............ok so you saying in 2010 the 2013 m5s came out? then it would be a 2011 m5. |

The last year was 2010, E60 M5.
The next model was 2013 F10 M5 (in the USA).

M cars aren't normal BMWs. They don't sell very many Ms compared to normal bimmers. So they don't need to have a model out every year.

I would sell it for $75k, it's got $15k in mods and it's very fast. You can see lot's of pictures of it here on the board. You can also see it's 1/4 times since I posted them in various threads. It has 16,700 miles and was $111,300 MSRP. It has full leather, B&O, executive package, driver assist and the color is an individual color which added $1800 to the price. I hate to sell it but I have a 991 tts which I like better and this one is getting parked in the driveway which makes it inconvenient to jockey around and it isn't good for the paint. It was garaged up to the last month. |

I think a lot were sold to overseas. My friend recently was looking for a used Maserati GT, after going car shopping with him did I realized there is a big market for end of lease American spec. cars in Asia. The dealer has over 20 Maserati GTs in stock at any given time which he bought from the US, and right now most of them are 2013s and 2014s as they came off the lease. He said he sells far more Maseratis than the official importer as Maserati haven't really updated the GTs for a long time so for many it makes little sense to buy it new.
A brand new GT in Taiwan is about 250k USD, a used 2013 is about 130k USD. A used American spec. M5 2012 is even cheaper, at about 100k. So maybe those missing M5s have gone overseas. |

I think the M5s come out about a year after the initial model is released. Just like now the G30 is coming out, but the M5 won't come out till next year.
There was no 2004 M5 nor was there a 2011 M5. |

Pretty sure Canada and USA are aligned. Tons of 2013s here. Just check auto trader. My friend has one actually.
