Opti-Coat Pro Warranty

I had my BSM opticoated in November 2013 by a certified installer in Orange County. Last week I had another Opticoat certified detailer wash my car and he said that the opticoat was not performing up to snuff and thought that I should make a warranty claim. While he was servicing my vehicle, I called Opti-Coat and spoke with the inventor, Dr. David Ghodoussi. I had the second certified detailer speak with him since I do not know the technical lingo. Long story short is that the OC vendor will look at my vehicle and, if necessary, re-install the Opti-Coat. Hopefully they will also do the necessary paint-correction again since, per the second detailer, the initial paint-correction left much to be desired.

I will follow-up on my experience, but I wanted to give those people with, or looking to purchase Opti-Coat, some real world issues and how the company is responsive to the consumer's needs.

Rhino Custom Detailing in Huntington Beach is going to re-apply the Opti Coat under warranty. Great customer service!

Which shop did you go to? With paint correction and opticoat pro application it is 6-8 hour day on one vehicle.

Opticoat M5 F10 / ADV1 / Eisenmann Race

Rhino Detailing in OC honored their Opticoat warranty and performed a stage 1 paint correction and re-applied Opticoat Pro on my ride for free! Here are some shots and I'll post more when I get them. Unfortunately the shine didn't last long since the next day we had a freak 20 minute rain storm and I can't touch the car for 30 days to allow the Opticoat to cure properly. Ughh I hate driving around with a dirty car.

Long story short, I love the OptiCoat and the Rhino for stepping up to the plate.
