You need a lot more than the calipers and rotors. Do some research first. From the factory it's a 9k option. From BMW M Performance aftermarket it's 13k+.

Thanks for watching out, I know what it entails as Ive been eyeing a kit for a while now.. The only thing besides the rotors and calipers is the brake booster module, and optional undercover, the brake lines and everything else is identical..
Ive seen sets in the past go for much less than the M Performance price. Hoping to find a set off a totalled car or someone who wants to swap for blue... cheers!

You will also need programming to the ECU that controls braking, from a dealership. The bias front to rear is different than steel brakes.

Im 99% sure there is no programming involved.. Ive looked into the retrofit kit, and spoken to dealers and tech.. The booster module itself is the key to this..
Product Details The kit includes: Front and rear carbon ceramic rotors Front and rear calipers New front brake dust shield Front and rear brake pads Front belly pan New brake booster

I've also heard about the programming required. But I also heard the suspension components are different to accommodate the size.

Nope, nothing else needed.. its just a simple bolt on installation with the brake booster module swapped.. simple.. programming not needed..

I have the CCBs
Look great, stop great - glad I have them. Worth the hassle of swapping out - no. Just my 2 cents.

Looks like my previous comment on programming and suspension changes only apply to early built cars (based on another ccb thread)

Well you may be correct about the programming or coding.. a lot of mixed answers out there..however, im pretty sure there are no suspension changes.. The Brake Kit Retrofit from M performance should come complete.
Thanks for the input!
