I love M6 so my vote is for M6, but I won't pay more than 100k for M6
AMG GTS is a great car so I was going to get AMG GTS after M6... something changed in my life and I needed more than 2 seats

No doubt, I pick the GTS. I have owned an F13 M6 for a year and have the GTS- they just dont compare in driveability, handling, or what I like to call "feel" Of course this is is from one owner of both and the M6 was/is a great GT car and in reality they are in different segments. I just love hearing the sound of the hot V- 4.0 TT roar and back fire to match up with its acceleration.

You can get smoking deals on the GTS as its softened up too.

You didn't have a comp pack M6 though did you?

The M6 will always lose if you are comparing it to the AMG GT around a track though, one has 4 seats and has 52% of its 4250lbs weight at the front, the other has 2 seats, weighs only 3600lbs and has 53% of its weight on the rear.

There aren't any significantly faster 4 seat cars out there though apart from the new Camaro but I'm unsure just how much room is in the rear?

Mine was a 2013 which did not have that option but...

I had a tune which exceeded the comp pack specs. I am fully aware that the comparison is not apples to apples but the question was asked so I answered as a good forum member than I am

There are a few cars with 4 seats that will out trap the M6 (CTS V- Hellcat to name two) but of course there are many ways to measure the word "speed" or "quick". In reality my Turbo S has 4 seats and will crush the M6 (lets face it the M6 seats arent that spacious out back).

You can't fit 4 adults in a 911, or in a GT-R even! I maintain the M2/M4/M6 are the quickest 4 seaters out there.

You think you can fit 4 adults in an M4 let alone an M2? I own an M4 and its tight; not as tight as my Turbo S but tight- yes you can shoe horn a few small people into the 911 but I see what you are saying.

As for quickest, I see the E63S and the RS7 being better from a dig and then the M's (throw the 2 and 4 out- the C63S is faster) being the faster high speed GT cars. Like I said before speed is measured in so many subjective ways. I maintain that the CTS-V and the Hellcat will out trap the M cars and hold those adults as well. But I wont get one cause I love me some German

I'm about 5'9" and I can sit behind my driving position OK in the M4. In the M6 it isn't quite as good as there is about 2" less leg room but still ok for short trips or something. The C63S Coupe is about the same as the M6 for rear room.

You are correct about the CTS-V and Hellcat but they aren't made with the steering wheel on the other side for me down in little old NZ

M6Coupe has actually broken down the entire package in several other posts/threads and after all the items are added up its actually not a bad deal. And of course with the market where it is on these cars its a steal. The problem is, hardly anyone really wants ALL of those options in their car.

Yup... it's here :

http://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1341726

The fully loaded M6 costs 146k. Adding all those extra CF and MPE will push the price point to the north of 165k

Lots of people do this anyway after purchase and as such it isn't part of the lease price so they lose.

I suspect the problem is that the white one came with silly stripes and Austin Yellow is a bit bold for the majority of people.

If they had done them in Carbon Black or Tanzanite or some other 'non offensive' colour I suspect they would have sold them faster.
