Thanks for posting the pix. This really helps in making my decision. Also, what's that thing in your vent? What does it do?

The "thing" in the vent is a gauge from P3CARS .
It plugs into the OBD port and can read a number of interesting data sources such as

Boost: Will show vacuum and boost
Coolant Temperature (exact in F/C)
Air Intake Temperature (exact in F/C)
Exhaust Gas Temperature
Ignition Timing
RPM/Shift (exact RPMs)
Actual Road Speed
0-60 time
Battery Voltage

It is sold either pre-configured or you can install it yourself
Installation itself is very easy on the F10 platform. Just install the vent
and plug the cable into the OBD port . Shouldn't take longer than 15 minutes
http://www.p3cars.com/catalog/f10/

Only thing to note is that on our cars you likely want to move parts from your original vent to the new one (if you opt to have it pre-installed) as the new vent will not have the
chrome slat and the illuminated dial wheel

Oh that's cool. Personally, I don't think that is something that I will use. How do you like the rear-facing fog lights? I was thinking about retrofitting this feature myself.

Honestly it's more of a gimmick than anything
Just so I and others can claim we have something Euro on our M5s
It's one of the simplest mods out there.
Just buy the switch and plug it in , functional immediately.
You can either use the standard F10 switch which has buttons for
the fronts (of course not on ours) and the rear fogs.
Or you can get the Euro F10 M5 switch which only has the button for
the rear fog lights.

Rear facing foglights are the most ANNOYING thing in the US because no one knows what the hell they are here. Therefore, when someone has them in their car, they dont know what that button does, but because the button is there, they turn them on - ALL THE TIME.

Yup.
Like so many other things, hugging the left lane, changing lanes without indicating,
(front/rear) fog lights on all the time, people cutting turns at traffic lights ... and the list goes on.

I doubt this is any issue since the kind of dummys you describe won't upgrade their fog switches.

I have it, and here in Miami when I am in torrential tropical rain with 15 feet visibility, I am glad I have this to reduce the risk of people driving into the back of me.

Im waiting. If the Eibach pro kit is consistent with its characteristics from the past as compared to H&R, it should be a comfortable option with slightly LESS of a drop than the H&R. I plan on running 21's and really want to see both options before making a decision.
Second this.

Do you have more info of the spacer? Wonder if I should also get one next week.

Both Sam and I feel the car will look better with the wheels more flush with the body but without rubbing. We measured Fri and ordered.
I don't like the fender hanging over the wheel look, although subtle.
I have an all day meeting Tue otherwise would like to come over and see your car.

Maybe see how mine look. Sam is very fair and probably won't be a big deal to place later. You could potentially get a Mon for Tue order if desired. They ship out of so cal.

Not me on 101, in Taipei for. 1 night back tomorrow ( today for me :-) )
