Windows down, roof open sport plus on
Early morning Sunday runs took a 12 mile route to a place less than a mile away LOL
The noise of this car as it echoes through the streets as you blip down and then hit the throttle out of the turn is just mental. And in the wet the car is a little more edgy as it slides across the Tarmac - heartbeat up - it's fanfreakingtastic. Neil

I usually do that too. The drive in the car is just so damn addicting.

Might as well be a boat since the only thing I can do is look at pics of it since I'm on the rigs.

I still get this buzz from my M3 on a clear tree-lined country road. quick question, is there a way to turn off or turn down the synthetic engine noise coming out of the speakers? |

Sure get a good exhaust system and you'll look back.

not simply but honestly you won't care when you get the car.

I love the exhauste
It is no GTR or CTS-V But good in its own right and deep and o said before not loud but that is when you r inside the car, people outside and almost 0.5 mikes away will hear it and loud but not like ricers exhauste but rather a deep throaty serious one. My 2 cents I really would like to know how much louder the CP compared to non CP from people who went from MY13 to LCI CP MY14? |

Both cars I installed Meisterschaft exhausts. This is my opinion.... COLD start - M5 destroys M3. Long hard exhaust note. almost like standing behind a jet engine WARM start - M5 has the quick silent rush of air. Very disappointing. Low RPMs M3 has much better sound. NA engine results in higher RPMs before feeling any acceleration or "jolt". In the M3 I could always creep out of a gas station or parking lot while drawing attention. M5 does not. Higher RPMs the M3 would scream. M5 is more like a testosterone fueled howl. The sound of the M5 on the highway compared to the M3 is like listening to music with or without bass. In the M5 everyone knows you're there(even if they don't see you - they feel you). The only 2 things I miss from the M3 are the low RPM growls and the convertible top. EDIT: To really answer the question. M3 stock AND sports exhaust SUCK! |
