track pads
Hi-
Am thinking of attending another track event at Thompson Motor Speedway in CT. I previously attended a track event in Watkins Glen and roasted my pads and had to get new pads/rotors. Turner Motorsport now seems to have track pads. For someone who has had more track experience than me, which track pads should i get for this heavy car? I experienced significant fade after a few laps at Watkins Glen, but Thompson is a shorter track and I assume won't hit speeds of 140 on the straights. I was thinking of getting Hawk Blue or HP+ pads. It looks like Pagid has a product but not coming out until the end of this month. Ideally i'd like to just drive to the event without swapping there if possible. edit: just talked to turner- nothing out for stock calipers. the Pagids are coming out at the end of the month which simplifies my decision. cost to be determined. thanks

Make sure you have changed to a higher quality fluid. In fact that should be your first step, always imho, plus if you have any air in the calipers from boiling the fluid the last time, you need a flush anyway.
