Metal rings inside the wheel

Last weekend I was swapping my oem wheels for track wheels and noticed that inside of the oem wheel center there is a metal ring that looks like the end of the hub (lip), but nothing is broken off. Any ideas?

Hub-centric ring?

Aftermarket wheels (most likely) aren't hub-centric to our cars so these rings make them fit snug to the hub.

EDIT: just saw that they were inside your OEM wheels... I'm not sure then.

I had never ever heard of hubcentric rings on OEM wheels.

Post pics please.

I think that section of the ad is a template they use to sell all their rims. So I don't think that applies to the oem rims they were selling. They forgot to take that part out.

I've never seen hubcentric rings on oems before either. Got any pics of the "rings"?
