Lowering '14 F10 M5 CP

Opinions please ... Should I swap out to H&R Sport on my 2014 F10 M5 Competition Package or stick w the Competition Springs? CP ride is just awesome, but not low enough for my taste. Rip away...

I'll buy your CP springs if you swap them.

If you just want a poser and care nothing for performance why spend the money on the CP to start with ???? The 10mm drop is perfect in my opinion , and any "lowering spring " will perform much worse .

Dinan springs will be coming soon. Those will definitely perform.

I had a full Dinan stage 2 setup on my E63 M6 . The Comp pack looks just as low and outperforms it in every way possible including ride quality . Trust me it will not be better . The change from the regular car to CP is equivalent to KW3 coilovers it's that good . A lot of people would think it's too stiff .

The reason I'm asking is because stiffer CP suspension can dump more aggressive H&R spring rates allot better. The only question that remains for me is if H&R will come ou /w spring calibrated for CP.

That's my main point if the spring is not made for the 20% stiffer damper on the CP it will not work well and will perform worse than the CP springs . Dinan, H&R etc . It doesn't matter .

Thats exactly what I'm thinking too. Need to call H&R and find out if CP calibrated spring set is in the pipeline.......

For all of you /w '14 CP, interested in H&R Sports...

Called H&R. No CP calibrated spring yet. They also have not tested current spring on LTE or LTE CP. I was told to call back in a month....

Yes they did and they lower the car to a perfect height as well. They perform exceptionally well on both the M5 and M5 with a VERY slightly stiffer ride. I actually prefer the ride over OEM and I am not a fan of stiff rides. I would say the best way to describe it is "sporty" and perfectly so.

I checked it with h&r and they said it was fine. I've had the h&r's on since new and they are perfect as far as I'm concerned.

Did you see any height difference between the CP and H&R springs...
