100-200 km/h results between gutted OEM DP & aftermarket DP

Hey guys,

Many of you drive with gutted OEM Downpipes.
I often read that there should be no difference in performance, between gutted & aftermarket Downpipes.

Thats why i did some test runs (100-200 km/h) first with aftermarket DP and after with OEM gutted DP.

Car is:
M6 F13 - HCP Stage 2+ - K&N drop in - NGK @0.020"

Heres the results:

What was your motivation for testing a gutted OEM cat vs. an aftermarket catless downpipe?

Cool thread. Thanks for posting!

I second the above question... Would be cool to see stock cats versus gutted cats.

I have done some stock times with original cats.

About 7,6 sec.

I can flash today my car to stock tune and do some 100-200 runs with the installed Original decats.

5,72 sec. with qstarz on dry road.

Now i ordered the dragy to correct the time. but right now we have a rainy weather. 6.0 sec. was on wet street with dragy.

Maybe these day will be dry and i can try some new measurements and correct the times.
