Question need suggestion buying used m5

i am looking into buying used 2013 m5 with 24k miles on it. sakir orange color.
carfax is clean 1 owner but first registration was at 4k miles and the car was used in north carolina at bmw driving school so i think those 4k miles are all track miles and the car was driven hard and abused.
the car has all bells and whistles 20 inch wheels, exec, cold weather, drivers assisstance, night vision, heads up display, bang olufsen audio.
warranty expires in 11/2016.
price is 58k.

1)should i go for it or let it go as it was a track car first 4k miles atleast?
2)i was thinking g10 m5 will be out next year and f10 will suddenly look old?
3)g10 m5 will have awd so better 1/4 mile performance.

There's always going to be a newer and better generation so you shouldn't worry about that, get it so you can get the current generation for almost 50% off the sticker, that's why it makes sense, unless your willing to drop 2xmuch for the latest generation.

But that car with 4K track miles, imo I wouldn't do it. Those are beat to the teeth thru the people that use em At the track. Better off with a car with 20k more freeway Miles..

Just my 2 cents..

Check Carmax, and widen your search for the entire USA.

You should be able to pick up a one with low miles and Carmax warranty( which is freaking amazing) for about the same price including warranty...

The next gen M5 won't be out for at least another 2 years!

Faster 1/4 maybe, but RWD is much more fun.

If you can get the price down even further, it's still worth it. Just have a good warranty to go with it after the factory warranty expires.

Given how I and others drive the performance driving school cars, I would pass. They do get proper and frequent maintenance, but definitely take a beating.

I personally say go for it. Usually performance cars that spent the earlier part of their lives getting driven in the manner they were built to be end up being better cars. I bet that M doesnt burn oil, have leaks, etc. They are generally very well maintained too. Test drive the thing and see how it feels. If she looks and feels good then do it.
