E46 M3 Dreaming

Soo I own my F10 M5 for about 5 Months now and I love the car its a beast. But I find myself still missing that raw aggressive feeling I got from my E46 M3. Not to say the M5 isn't aggressive but they are just two completely different animals. Having driven the M3 daily for 3.5 years its two different worlds.

I'm wondering if its because I opt'd for the DCT instead of the 6MT. Anybody else make the same switch? Is it because I didn't get the stick?

i just came from an e46 M3 as well. it was fully modded and has the VF Stg2 kit. i dont think its stick vs auto for me. i think its really boils down to the weigh. unfortunately for me, I needed the space and the extra door and trunk space. those are my main reason for not buying the F80.

Overall, I dont regret the switch. MY M3 was starting to show its age and I wanted something newer and turbo.

Was the same reason for me! The e46's age was really starting to show through at 10900 miles and I definitely needed the extra doors and the trunk space. I didn't love the F80 though I figured if I was going four door I want a four door that has space not one that just has two extra doors with no space. I think if I had opt'd for the stick I wouldn't be feeling this way
