Some people are having wind type noise issues that emit from the drivers left side mirror.

So my orange check engine light came back on out of no where. I wonder if it is because of the charcoal delete? Anyone having this random check engine go on and off remove their charcoal filters?????

Drivetrain malfunction and CEL light came on today

Was over at member PTT's house today to do the charcoal filter delete on our 2 F10's and as we were about to leave to get a tool at Lowe's before the removal, my engine sputters and the malfunction warning comes on with the CEL light on his driveway. First problem ever with this car.

My car has 4900 miles on the odo was parked on a mild incline on his driveway. My fuel tank was low, 44 miles to empty on the computer. Engine began to sputter on the driveway then shut off. Repeated attempts to turn over failed so we roll the car to the flatter street and add about half gallon of fuel. Luckily car turned over and took it right away to fill up.

Everything seems to be fine now. No loss of power and all feels normal but CEL is still on. If it does not reset by weekend's end I'll have to take it in.

I guess I'll never let the tank get to the warning again! Good thing I was at my buddy's house or it would have been a rough going.

Those monitoring sensors must be really sensitive. From now on, I will also try to refuel as soon as the gas light goes on.
