issue with my car, any advice?

So today I had my new wheels and coilovers with edc delete installed at my shop. After leaving I noticed that downshifts were hesitant and didn't catch the gear as quickly as they normally do. I would downshift and the rpms would drop about 500 and then catch the gear and send the revs back up to where they were supposed to be. I did not have this issue on my way to the shop. One of the techs told me that his edc delete modules on his m5 looked completely different than the ones I have. Did Kw recently change their design? Is there something different about the 2016 model? We are going to try to swap his edc delete modules onto my car tomorrow and see if it fixes the problem. I just don't understand how a suspension and wheel install can affect the dct. Anyone ever experience anything like this? They also did a full scan and there was no fault codes, car also has only 6k miles on it.

i didnt take any pics, i swapped the modules today to the new ones and the problem is still there. the issue that i am thinking is that the rolling diameter of the tires is off, front are 255/30/20 rears are 295/30/20. i am swapping on a 255/35/20 later today to see if that helps the issue. if problem persists I'm just taking it to the dealer, i want to enjoy my new wheels and suspension already car is driving like total dogshit.

Willing to bet its the tires. The computer probably thinks something is slipping since the front and rear wheels are spinning at different speeds. Does this happen with the DSC/DTC totally off?

This exact same thing happens to me when I have the Michelin Alpins winter tires on the M5. The DCT really doesn't like the winter tires when not driving on snow.

It's been happening at speed, going slow everything is completely normal. Dsc on or off it happens as well. Swapping the stock tires on tomorrow to see if it's the tires, really hope it is

It turned out to be the tires and the rolling diameter being off. Now I have a useless new set of Michelin PSS :/

Why did you go 255 btw rather than the stock 265?

Glad you were able to localize the issues. I read the post earlier and was bummed for you. Spending $ and time for parts only to result in sucks!!

I can tell you that I've had my V3's for the past 6 months and absolutely love them. I'm on aftermarket wheels with 285 30/20 and 305 30/20 and very happy with overall performance.

Yea man it was a total bummer the day I got everything installed and having to hobble back home lol. The wheels are going back on Saturday so I'm just going to have to suck it up and ride on stock wheels for another day.

The v3's feel incredible though. The car is so much more planted and I really don't feel a difference in comfort from the stock suspension. The car looks so much more aggressive with the drop too, I love it. Here's a pic from the other night when I first had everything installed.
