Are electric turbos the future?
Looks like Audi, Ferrari, and Mercedes are developing electric turbo technology for their future cars. On today's ///M cars, it seems like turbo lag has gone the way of the Dodo bird, but on all of the regular BMW's, turbo lag still exists to an extent at least.
I wonder if BMW will start to use electric turbos in the future too? http://www.autoguide.com/auto-news/2...echnology.html
