There's a reason the OEM version has a single LED and tubing versus row style LEDs. There will always be bright/dim spots with that setup.
If you really like the idea, you can buy a LED roll and RGB controller off eBay for a fraction of the price. And you'll have more than just two colors. As far as the handles, most reputable shops can fab something into the OE handle. My advice? Skip - Every single one of those will fail in due time. I've swapped out 30+ lines in the last two months between limos and buses.

Josh, I saw an F85 X5M a few days ago coming home from work and we played on the freeway...and all I wanted to do was see inside :-) Can you post a link of what you're referring to vs the ones I've found? I'm mostly worried about being able to install it so it's not visible in the daytime and how I'd write it into the stock lighting.

Few questions
is this available for f10 that does not have ambient lighting.
Is there fitting instructions to fit to a car that does not have ambient light. can colour be changed from the idrive system CIC? as i dont have the new nbt. if not is the brightness changed when you change for the in car brightness? im sure there is a switch to change colours, does this only change colours or does button also switch off? i presume this works when lights are on, does this mean they are on when drl's are on also? do they come on as you unlock the car, same time as follow me home lights? i think that is it. |
