///M Badge on calipers facing opposite way??
I noticed a while back (but it hasnt bothered me enough to post) that the ///M logo on the calipers are positioned opposite on the two front calipers.
So instead of the ///M logo pointing the same way on both sides....one points towards the front and the other points towards the rear. Does everyone have this? Sorry if this has been covered already....please post link if it has. Thanks |

So you want one to read ///M and one to read M\\\ so it will "look right" to you?
One is the marque, the other is not. Germans do it the way they do to make it correct, then aesthetic.

Like all the BBK manufacturers and AMG do it. As if you took the left side caliper and installed it on the right. Right now, if you take both front F10M5 calipers off the car and place them on the bench... the passengers/left side caliper's logo is upside down. Brembo doesn't do this with their logo, nor does AP Racing, Alcon, StopTech, etc. Wonder if the opposite is true for RHD cars? Last edited by mastek; 07-24-2014 at 11:00 AM.. |

Notice how one side has the bottom of the logo facing the rotor and the other has the bottom facing away from the rotor... |

Look at cars with turbine blade style rims. Almost always one side stants forward and the other side backwards...
