Stock 2014 M6 CP with Gruppe M intake 60-130mph
So I went out this AM to my usual spot to do some baseline 60-130 testing with my new pbox sport. Conditions were excellent with temps at 41 degrees and 0 degrees slope at my run sight. I just did 2 attempts so def room for improvement. First attempt I lighted up 2nd gear so bailed and started in 3rd gear instead in the 40mph range. Obviously i was gently accelerating until 40's then hit it( Really impressed with 1/4 trap not flooring it until near 50 lol) This is what she did....

Very impressive! Now I need to gun for an even better time. It is supposed to be in the mid 30's over night....but I literally just filled up with gas... Darn it!

BTW congratulations! I believe you now have the fastest 60-130mph run for a non-tuned sedan...or 4 door coupe! |

I am new to this and I don't understand your testing method. Can you explain for the short bus crew?
The times seem slow to me. |

The 60-130mph time is actually very fast. Are you talking about the 1/4 mile time posted? He really wasn't trying to do a 1/4 mile run. I believe he mentioned that he kind of gently got into the throttle and then gunned at 40 mph. I think the OP was just showing what the pbox Sport reported as the 1/4 mile info to show that even though he didn't get into the throttle until after 330', it still posted nearly 120 mph at the 1/4 mile mark...not that it was an all out 1/4 mile run.

Btw I compared your 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile time from 84mph to 119.6mph to my 8.57s 60-130mph run. Obviously it took you 660' (1/8 mile) while it took me 697.4' to go 84mph to 119.6mph. So you would have 2+ car lengths. |

Wow that's a big gap to put down that quickly . It feels really strong, I'll be interested to see what it will trap in a true 1/4 mile run .
