M6 almost totaled, so got this before next 2018 M5 :)

Hey folks,
As some of you may know I have been a loyal fan of BMW M5/M6 for so long now and still am and I guess ///M runs in my veins and I have no doubt that I will be getting one of those M5 2.8 sec 128mph Quarter Mile sooner or later but till then I am gonna see what Audi S8 camis up to

On a more serious note,
My last M6 that was an amazing vehicle except for being very impractical car yet I enjoyed owning it to the max! Nice color combo,
Long story short got T boned and still getting fixed and there’s a chance it might get totaled, the jury is still out on that!

I couldn’t wait and knowing that I won’t be interested in driving it again with frame damage, so I started test driving other brands which is tantamount to biting the forbidden fruit , thinking NO WAY I would fall for anything that doesn’t have ///M next to it, and boy was I wrong

Test drove 2016 MB S 63 AMG And wasn’t impressed at all, at all!
Then I saw an S8 2015 nearby and I had been really almost laughing at the thought of having one because of being too big and too very unlike me! Too old too classy for me?! Dunno

Long story short
I test drove this thing and got hooked like I never thought I would except for the obvious lack of Proper Exhaust Note to match that amazing Engine 4.0 TFSI compared to my M6 Comp Pacakge with open valves 24x7 which sounded great honestly m, now not as good as RS7 of course!

And then I did APR stage I
Then I got hooked again and went with APR Stage II and this thing is unbelievably uncannily so much fun and so much faster than any other car I have ever owned maybe including my Ludicrous P90D (No pun intended) Tesla but not by much unless you’re talking above 70-80mph!

BTW I test drove RS7 a few weeks ago and loved everything about, man that exhaust note is Formula One worthy! Like it a lot except for the lack of full leather interior and also that Rear Will Never Grow On Me!! Ever!

Now from what I read S8 APR Stage II is at
0-60mph 3.1 sec
Quarter mile 10.8 ish

Its a very violent car with all that hp/tq and ZF tranny which holds it all down. But its also very safe with the Quattro system; tons of grip.

Also it pops and crackles ina funny way with downshifts!
It voided my remaining warranty

Ha, the good ole' TD1 from Audi--- enjoy the car. Feel free to pull the resonators (2 of them) and the suitcase one (1 big one) to have even more booms, barks, and gunfires.

(its a very easy process that any good muffler shop can do rather quickly)

Man pulling in where I work will be embarrassing if a patients or a nurse hears it

Yeah I wanna get more sound but maintain civility at will,

Also GETTING THE CETE MODULE BLUETOOTH for LOWERING THE CAR WITH AN App! Any experience with that ?! I wanna lower it!

there are a total of 3 resonators, 2 of which run side by side, the third is one big looking suitcase style one (if its the same as the RS7- I should have said this).

The suitcase one looks like a muffler and its big. If you can get a shot underneath I can confirm but you already have down pipes so I think you will be too loud if you pull these too.

As for cete, I had the DRC which are springs in nature so I had to use KW HAS to drop the car. But I hear good things about Cete.

I don’t mind louder as long as I still can get it to be civil when I want it to be so!
Which is closing the valves to hush it at will!

So if removing the “Box” and the “mid Resonators” will make it louder when Dynamic not all the time then yes I am all for that!!

I was on the fence between a S7 and the M5. I chose the M5, but a tuned S7 would have been fun. With you starting with the same motor as the RS7 and being tuned. Should be insanely fun.
