New M5 ED
Just picked up my new 2014 m5 from Munich this morning. Did a spirited 400 mile journey to Beaune France and loved every minute of it. Here are some pics and a fun surprise outside of the welt. The driver gave me a thumbs up!

Congratulations Mike! Where are you driving it?
I highly recommend the avoid highways setting during break in at least half the time you drive it. It maximizes the chance of reducing oil burning later on since on country roads you drive a little slower and vary rpms naturally. It worked for me the last 2 times on these BMW V8 twin turbos. Not saying it's guaranteed though and you can do the same on highway if you're disciplined.

Thanks all! Yesterday was all auto bahn with 6 stops to take the car off highway speeds and through towns. Today we are in Beaune and our wine tour guide will be driving the car through the country side at low to moderate speeds.
I though am def driving to first vineyard no way I'm passing up a chance to drive this morning! |
