what's wrong with a little drone?!!! It's not like your driving an old civic with coffee cans....it's meant to be heard!

The engine is meant to be heard, I agree. But to give you and your passenger head aches... I don't think so.

Drone is there because the manufacture was lazy and cut corners or paid no attention to any R&D or do any design on the exhaust so it doesn't resonate and drone... you can have a nice sounding and louder exhaust with out drone.... its unforgivable.

P.S

So in my closing if you like drone, you are in luck... most systems for the F10 M5 drone like crazy especially the muffler deletes. Just deside where your tolerance is and how you drive your car and don't believe everyone that drone and excessive loudness is great for everyone, it isn't as a driver, passenger or by-stander unless you are at Cars & Coffee!

I don't mind a little drone, I already have some with the Supersprint cans I don't want it to get louder to the point where long trips get unpleasant. I'm trying to find someone local who has DPs installed so I can see if the noise levels are acceptable to me.

I don't mind having a loud car, I had an E60 M5 with the Evolve exhaust + Supersprint xpipe and she was a screamer, but also had 0 drone.

Getting zero drone out of the E60 is a great result- my E60 with RPI would drone that bad it would make the rear seat buzz and give passengers a numb bum lol! And no it wasn't touching anywhere!

It also sounded like an exotic and most people would turn heads and try and see the Ferrari that was hiden behind the four door sedan. It was too much for me.
