MSR intake

Have some question about guys who install MSR INTAKE.
I know that it's located behind the grille and I front of radiator.

My question is how do you remove it for cleaning the filter?

I'm planning to get one but still can't figure it out how to clean the filter

Thanks

It's easy, remove the kidney grills, unscrew the hose clamp and take it off.

MSR includes the filters and pre filters. I personally do not use them.

As for the kidney grill. If you use the yank and pull methods, it can be scary but it's rather easy. I've pulled mine out without any issues. You can do it after a long drive as suggested to make it easier.

The preferred method would be where you in lip the top clips of the bumper, reach in and unclip from behind.
