M5 F10 Turner Muffler Delete Installed

I finally was able to get the factory mufflers chopped off and replaced with the Turner Muffler Delete pipes that I picked up from another member. Sounds fantastic. The video doesn't capture the deeper tone as well as I would like, but it is only a tiny microphone in my iPhone. I will say the drone is minimal, if any. Coming from domestics with off road exhausts, the F10 is quiet as a mouse inside the cabin with the windows up. I tried to find some drone on the highway this morning and just couldn't find enough to muster a complaint about it. Anyways, I made just a short comparison video for anyone who is interested going this route.
Don't mind the dirty car. She's getting a bath today.

I didn't unplug the active sound. I don't think I will. I'm loving the increased exhaust tone. I capped the vacuum lines with some caps and gasket sealant.

How loud is the car on cold startup? I sold my RPI GTM due to cold start being unbearable.

RPI GTM and TMS are the same sounding system. The GTM is a straight piped system.

Cold starts will be loud. Tune it off ?

It's loud. However, I don't thinks it's unbearable. I leave early for work sometimes and don't feel it's loud enough to wake the neighbors.

Any benefit to buying the rpi system over the Turner muffler delete? Sounds like they are the same to me. Why spend the extra money?

The sound difference between the two is so minimal, you can't tell the diff. Some say the Turner might be deeper just a tad bit while the RPI is louder. I couldn't tell the difference when I was riding around with MCarsFan who had the system. We've done so many comparisons between the two. With the RPI you're getting a full system from the downpipes back where ass with Turner it's Axel back. RPI will have their custom x pipe vs Turner that uses the stock. Also, with RPI GTM you don't have resonators where as on the OEM piping you do. Probably why the slight difference in sound but not noticeable.

Personally, I would save my money and have an experience shop build a muffler delete with tips of my choice for about $400 or less and will sound the same as the Turner.

Here are videos for comparison that I took a year ago. RPI vs Turner on stock downpipes

Turner

RPI

Thank you!! I'll check locally, I'm pretty new to my area. Moved here about 4 year ago and haven't done anything with my cars, so I don't have a mechanic I trust yet. Been dealing with a local BMW guy, just not sure how good he is yet.

He seems good. He's familiar with my car. He had an E39 m5 in his shop, he also had a F10 550i, which he did some nice upgrades too. He was aware of the JB4 for my car and he suggested it. So, he might be good. He also had an OG M6 there as well, again he was modifying that as well.
