You got that right. They keep advertising a car that they don't even make any more. I had an order in for a 1m in December 2010 and did not get an allocation. To see these ads a year and a half later after production has stopped and my down payment refunded is frustrating to say the least.

I am not sure the configurator is running 100% still. I was told by my dealer GG Tax on the 6-spd is $1,000, on the DSG it is $1,300, but both were prelim figures.

Its better than the feature based ads, but i have still seen better from BMW.

It could be that this spot was made to run in multiple markets in addition to the US. You just change the language of the VoiceOver and the end logo. It's more cost effective.

You notice that they don't ever show a speedometer at all. So you don't have to commit to mph or km/hr.

Actually it does, it was on the original order sheet. It is pretty much a foregone conclusion it will have it. Just a matter of how big of tax the manual and dct will have.

Absolutely! Sounds just like my M3 with performance exhaust. No doubt!
