For those with Sapphire Black, did you go with the matte or gloss black LCI grills? I wasn't sure which to order from IND.

i just ordered the gloss black as the outter/surround color but i contemplated for some time going with the SB - should get them later this week. its going to be a few months before I can really see what it looks like installed. also got matching side markers.

I chose SB for the inner and outer on the side vents and SB for with the M Stripes on the front grilles

Thanks for the information. If the gloss or matte black doesn't look good, then I'll have no choice but to get SB for the LCI grill. I already have the SB inner/outer for the side vents.

I got GB LCI kidney's from IND on my SB F10 and they look great. In truth most observers, including me, can't tell the difference.

got them today - here are a couple pics. front grill (gloss black outter) and one side marker (gloss black outter, matte mesh and light tint).

Need an opinion - just got the rear M5 gloss black emblem from IND, should I match the front LCI chrome emblem in gloss black?

I don't know. Against the black backround of the grill, it may get lost completely. That might look awkward with the three stripes. Try taping over it with electrical tape to get a vague idea how it will look.

I've got a friend that got the emblem gloss black from IND. It looks good but kinda disappears with everything in gloss black. his car is black. I also have the gloss black rear emblems but kept the other emblems in chrome.

I never realized but this pic IND posted is actually blacked out, I think it looks good but like you said patb23 (glad I changed my handle i used to be patsc23) do I want it blend in or be legible left in chrome.

Here it is blacked out, what you guys think? Mine will not have the tri-color grill slats painted.

it looks good but as soon as you step back a bit it gets lost and all you see are the stripes.

working now. It does look good. I went to IND's site and saw the pic of it from a distance. you loose the definition of the M5 emblem in the black background. you know something is there but cant make it out that well.

Can you just order the emblem and modify the existing performance grill to fit. $400+ is a rip off considering the blk performance grills are like $180.
