Snapping metal sound
Hi everyone
I am a new n first time F10 owner, does anyone hear a snapping metal sound when they back up the car after park in the garage for several days? I hear this every time I start driving the car after several days untouched I called the service rep and he said that bc of the big brakes n they checked it out there is no problem but i m very concerned |

Does the car drive normally otherwise? Brakes function normally?
If so, the only thing I can think of is your're getting rust/corrosion that is fusing the pads to the rotors. The sound you're hearing could be the pads breaking free from the rotors. Are the rotors rusty after sitting for several days?

Exactly I get that every time I reverse out of the garage after washing the car the day before, it cracks loudly. normal.

Bingo after washing the car and parking don't engage the E brake. The brake is stuck on the rotors, and when you back up they break free. I park my car five days at a time, and it only happens when wet, and applying the E brake.
