NEW LCI - Steering Wheel F10 m5

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 1,700.00

Or Best Offer

Location:
✓ Will Ship

Item Interest
Ok, so here is the deal... I recently purchased a 2013 M5. I went on ebay, and paid $2000 for a brand new LCI steering wheel with heating and vibration motor.

The steering wheel went directly to the dealer from where i purchased the car. I asked them to install the steering wheel when it came in from the UK. (by the way, the company/user I purchased the wheel from on ebay is called MINTMARMAR. This is his profile link.

LINK

Anyway, steering wheel comes in, and dealer installs everything. Dealer then ships the car to me, and When I finally go in the car, i absolutely fall in love with how it came out. EXCEPT ONE PROBLEM... The wheel did not have the TRi-Colored stitching. This may not be a big deal to some, but I actually like the tri-colored stitching.

Apparently there was a mix up, and they packaged the wrong wheel. Long story short, I bought another wheel from them. It promptly arrived I installed, and now I have this one with me. Instead of dealing with shipping it back, I may be just interested in selling it here if someone is interested.

It is plug and play. Remove old, and insert new wheel. It comes with airbag, heating and vibration.

Thinking about selling this around $1700 plus paypal fees/shipping or best offer.

Let me know if there is any interest.

Sorry guys, this was sold in minutes!

FYI: I simply removed the old steering wheel, and put this one in. In fact, the last steering wheel swap to the Tri-Colored stitching one took Braman BMW 10 min to do. It has everything you need.

I thought the DIY was pretty hard, didn't know it was simplely as taking old Steering Wheel off and install new. Direct plug and play?!

Same question... I was told some coding for the airbag had to be done as well?

Posted in another thread and messaged Ebay lister as well. For weeks have researched and read every post regarding LCI steering wheels for F10 M5. I would like to replace my pre-LCI steering wheel on my 2013 M5 with a LCI one.
Need to retain all the functions I currently have: heat, vibration with lane departure, multi-function buttons, etc. Definitely want the new LCI wheel with trim-color stitching, the newer shift paddles, with air bag, vibration, heat and multi-function buttons.

Went to Ebay seller's page and found wheel but states not compatible with 2013 M5 when entered in drop down box despite stating in post in other places that it is compatible with 2013 M5 Can anyone provide any insight? Thanks.

Thanks for the response. You purchased from same Ebay seller? Came with all buttons, paddles, airbags, vibration module etc.? Did you have to purchase any additional parts?

I bought the actual steering wheel for sale on this thread not on eBay.

It's plug and play and there were no errors once I installed it.

Hello, just so you know we have M5 LCI heated steering wheels with and without paddle shifters for those who have a manual M5.

Contact me here or on our ebay store:

https://www.ebay.com/str/mintmarmar

If you are wondering if the LCI steering wheel is a direct replacement, the answer is yes. Simply remove the old one, install the new one and enjoy. There is no need for extra parts, modifying or coding. Dual stage airbag is included for the US and Canada. Single stage can be provided for Europe and rest of the world.

I welcome any questions.

Regards
Mark

You're welcome! We ship using Express services that is why you received it slightly earlier than expected. Let me know once you install it, or better yet you could upload a picture before and after so we can all see the upgrade. If you are doing the swap yourself please don't forget to disconnect the battery and wait for around 15-30 minutes before removing everything. Only connect the battery when the airbag is connected to avoid any errors. Let me know if you have any questions.

Regards
Mark
