I hate when they include GTR's in this lol platforms been getting beat since the m5/m6 came out and was eeking out victories..


Love the RS7 though. Audi is my go-to right now lol.

Still waiting on my dealership though to get a new 5 series in with the B&O speakers if they're as good or better than the 570s/720s diamond setup I'll be back on the BMW bandwagon

The RS7 got out early- not sure why/how but it locks up and goes but then gets dragged back by more efficient trannys and lighter weight cars.

I too dont know why the GTR was in this mess but it was probably cause it was the only other available LOL.

LOL only reason I could see it being in there was it held a top spot both from its aftermarket achievements, and from about the time you got yours (08/09) till I got mine in (2013/14) stock it really was still pretty dominate. Heck even bolt-on E85 cars up until about 2014/15 were still laying waste on the street if they were aggressive enough.

So I think its kinda one of those "were faster than the car you all heard about for the last decade" so they throw it in to give it a beat down.

Probably the E63 driver had a bad start. This is reaction time. That's why I prefer instrumented tests to side by side races.

We're interested in the facts not the human factor.

Keyword "probably", you and I were not there. Im more interested in real world races like this vs one's I cant see in a mag. I have a feeling the RS7 will have the better launch because quattro is more intrusive (which throws down more grip) but at the same time it hurts it when from a roll.

Here is an interesting race:

A manual higher hp Z06 vs the E63S AWD... No DCT advantage here but the vette defintely has the hp/weight advantage.
