For me, that's no good, but was an interesting learning point that such cars do appear on the AUC site. If its too good to be true, then it probably is!
You found a car yet mate?

Hey dude

Not yet, came close with the ultra-mint looking monte blue CP one but it was a very minimal spec in the end, was missing just 1 or two little things like HUD for example which in the end I wouldve regretted.

However see my other post, where the watering well seems to be drying up and maybe good examples are going to become fewer

Yeah, I think there are less decent spec / nice colour combo ones at the moment, especially if you're looking for a CP car.

By the way, don't all F10 M5's have HUD as standard???

They all have HUD but as you say SLD is an option. I think it can be retro added though

If the car hasn't got the works sld then some GPS radar detectors will have it on display and with verbal warning.

Speed Limit Display is probably one of the easiest things to have added. Look up Bavarian Coding on FB and ask Simon for a quote.

Just to update this thread, after looking at quite a few F10's non of them ticked the boxes, so I ended up buying an F86 X6M.

A little left-field and the looks aren't everyone's cup of tea but at least it's got the right engine.

No pics yet, been too busy lately. Will get some up shortly.

Pretty much standard spec (which is pretty well equipped) also has HK sound, surround view, cold weather pack (rear heated seats & heated steering wheel), comfort access, & privacy glass.

Carbon Black with Sonoma Beige interior running on the standard 20" rims.

I probably need to try a standard car and a CP model to get a feel for it as the roads around here aren't great and I do venture into town a bit too.

What have you switched the M5 for?
The 501M wheels on a CP are an option, remember they are cast alloy and the 343m's are forged so tougher in a pot hole incident.

Do you mean 601M or is that yet another CP wheel option? Any cars I have come across seemed to have either the 343M or 601M CP wheels? I'd go with whatever the right car comes with, though I do prefer the 601M slightly if anything, not to say the 343M arent gorgeous in my eyes.

The 601M are the ones that are standard on a Comp Pack car and the ones that for me mark a car out as different.

so all F10 CP M5 are meant to have 601M as standard but a lot of owners have chosen to go for the 343M out of choice you mean, when new?

Yes the 601M wheels are only available as part of the Comp Pack

Some owners chose to have the 343M instead
